The Showcase Singers is a group of experienced solo performers who sing in the genres of musicals, specialty numbers, foreign language traditional songs, and the opera repertoire. Usually found performing with 6 singers and piano, they can also perform in quartets, duos, trios, and singles with piano as your venue requires.  In all venues we strive to bring class, style and maturity to our work along with the precision that comes with years of experience.

Susan Miller Kotses Born in South African born, but raised primarily in Irvine, Susan has had a diverse singing career encompassing opera, operetta, recital, and musical theatre. Susan received her Bachelor and Master of Music from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University and was a Metropolitan Opera National Auditions Regional Finalist. After completing her studies, Susan moved to Paris, France where she performed regularly with the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, the Opéra Comique, and the Thêatre du Chatêlet as well as England’s Aldeburgh Festival, Greece’s The Hellenic Festival, The Grand Theatre of Shanghai, and Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw. Susan currently serves as cantorial soloist at Temple Judea in Laguna Woods and has sung with the Long Beach Opera. In addition, Susan is Vice President of Education and Community Engagement for Pacific Symphony.

Ron Banks  Bass-baritone Ronald M. Banks has been delighting audiences for decades in a career that spans musical theater, opera, and voice over. His critically acclaimed signature role of the King in The King and I has been seen across the country. Other productions include Sweeney Todd, Evita, Pacific Overtures, South Pacific, Camelot, and many others, including an 8-year run as Jafar in Disney’s production of Aladdin:A Musical Spectacular. Ron’s distinctive speaking voice can be heard on the video game World of Warcraft and as Quan Chi in the Mortal Kombat franchise. Currently, Ron’s shares his passion for educational outreach with Pacific Symphony’s Family and Class Act concerts.

Jenn Quader Jenn Quader performs and choreographs for a variety of theatres in Orange County. Some of her favorite roles include Estelle in the national tour of Broadway’s The Full Monty, Conchita in the national tour of Barry Manilow’s Copacabana, Velma in Chicago, Sheila in A Chorus Line, Anytime Annie in 42nd Street, and Rizzo in Grease, among others. Jenn now works as the Managing Director of a PR and marketing firm in Newport Beach.

Marc Marger  Marc has worked at No Square Theatre, the Huntington Beach, Camino Real, Cabrillo and Costa Mesa Playhouses, Curtis Theater, Tustin’s Broadway in the Park, Main Street Players, Poway Center for the Performing Arts, with the Saddleback, Fullerton, Downey, Orange County and Irvine Civic Light Opera Companies, Tibbie’s Music Hall, Elizabeth Howard’s Curtain Call, The Murder Mystery Café, and on the Regency and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Recent roles include Lagunatics, And the World Goes ‘Round, Titanic (Mr. Etches), Lucky Stiff (Vinnie), Xanadu (Thalia), Sweet Charity (Herman), You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Snoopy), Damn Yankees (Rocky), I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (Robert/Jordan), The Music Man (Marcellus), JC Superstar (Annas), Grease (Roger), Babes in Arms (Lee Calhoun), Chess (Arbiter), The Fantasticks (Bellomy), Side by Side (The Man), Fiddler on the Roof (Motel) Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Levi) and Peril on the Prairie (Juan Condor).

Lori Devey  Lori Renée Devey has delighted audiences since the age of 3 when she began performing with her mother and sister. Studying opera at Oregon State University and the San Francisco Conservatory of music and winning NATS and Opera competitions gave Lori a solid foundation on which to begin a solo career. Lori sang with the 18-piece Jazz band, The Bob Saul orchestra, for seven years in The Bay Area where she fell in love with Jazz and learned how to swing. Performing in Japan and living in China for 18 months where she performed at the famous Peace Hotel on the Bund, inspired Lori to compose and produce a children’s world album in 8 languages. Lori has written and produced three albums, and has composed music for Taiwanese artist, Stephen Peng, and Shanghai Disney.

Leslie Tinnaro A California native, appeared in the original cast of Evita at the Schubert Theatre in Los Angeles, followed by 5 years in New York City in the Broadway company of Evita.  Eliza Doolittle from My Fair Lady is a favorite role for Leslie. Other leading role musicals for Leslie include Cabaret, The King and I, Carnival, Oliver, Company, Gypsy, and her own one woman show Music and Laughter.

Gino Gaudio Began singing at a very early age, taught by his father Giuseppe Gaudio, operatic tenor, whose operatic career in Italy continued in New York and to the West Coast. Gino entered the Metropolitan Opera auditions and sings major arias such as Di Provenza from Verdi's La Traviata, and The Credo from Otello, as if second nature, with all the passion and beauty inherent in his Italian background and training. In addition to opera, Gino was understudy for Howard Keel in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, also starring Jane Powell.  He appeared on Broadway with the same show starring Debbie Boone.  Gino's leading roles include South Pacific, Man of la Mancha, Carousel, Camelot, and others, as well as television roles in General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, Murder She Wrote, and Highway to Heaven.

Katie Nichol  Katie Nicol is no stranger to the stage! Favorite roles for Katie include: Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Glenda in Wicked, Sister Robert Anne in Nunsense, and Ms. Hannigan in Annie. Katie also “performs” weekdays in front of 170 middle school students teaching English, as well as performing in churches and stages all over Orange County. Recently this versatile singer sang lead vocals in a Christian rock band performing locally at the Coach House. The Showcase Singers are delighted to have Katie share her talent, humor, and dynamic energy in every performance!

Vanessa Cedeno has grown up with music since the day she was born.  With the support of her grandmother/accompanist Eileen Smith, Vanessa won first place in both the Classical and Musical Theater divisions in the 2005 NATS competition, first place in the Classical division in the 2006 MAOC competition, and recently auditioned for the Metropolitan Opera competition at USC. “Within the past few years, Vanessa had the leading role of Johanna in Sweeney Todd at the Mysterium Theater, the role of Martha in Spring Awakening at Orange Coast College, the remarkable role of Aldonza in Man of La Mancha at the Village Theater in Tustin, and the leading role as Fantine in Les Mis at the Stage Door Repertory.”

Dave Hood made a name for himself as leading man in many musical productions, including Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Phantom in Phantom of the Opera, Tribute to Andrew Lloyd Weber, Voice of the Crow in Jambirdee at the Las Vegas Hilton, as featured performer with the Riverside Pops and Riverside Philharmonic, Soloist for the Long Beach Playhouse Cabaret series, to name a few!

Michael Wallot An as Equity actor, Michael appeared in 7 Broadway and National Touring shows including The Phantom of the Opera, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Deamcoat, The Wizard OF Oz and Evita. He has appeared in nearly 100 professional stage productions. Stage appearance in SoCal include the Bearded Lady in the L.A. premiere of Side Show; his one-man stand-up musical comedy, I’m Sellling Out! He has shared the stage with Liza Minnelli, Bea Arthur, Chita Rivera, Idina Menzel, Kelli O’Hara, and Kate Shindle. Michael has directed over 50 stage productions and received awards for his work including OC Weekly Award and DCA nominations.

Our Founder - Linda Eldridge Pianist and musical director of the Showcase Singers!!, comes from a family of performing musicians in North Carolina, who continue to enjoy successful concerts up and down the East Coast.  Linda chose a similar path on the West Coast!  Trained as a classical pianist and earning her master's degree in piano performance, she found her niche in musical theater and opera. She has been pianist and musical director for musical shows and concerts in Southern California since the late 70s, appearing with the Mario Singers, Fullerton Civic Light Opera, La Mirada Theater, Barklay Theater, Camino Real Playhouse, The Five Crowns Restaurant, and numerous convention shows with the Showcase Singers. Linda continues to teach piano students and accompany vocalists and musicians for classical, operatic, and musical theater productions. Ron Loscalo Pianist, recording artist, and composer, brings an exciting freshness to the art of beautiful piano playing through his inspired compositions as well as his unique renditions of favorite standards. His music combines classical romanticism with his own melodic and harmonic creations. Ron has appeared at the MGM and Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, pianist for Universal Studios as well as countless corporate events, fundraisers and concerts throughout the southland. His father, violinist for Paul Whiteman at the grand opening of Rhapsody in Blue with Gershwin himself and his mother, a Zigfield girl, creates a unique musical heritage. Ron has produced numerous cds that are currently marketed by iTunes, Amazon music, MSN music, Yahoo music, Tunecore, CD Baby and others that are played on many internet radio stations across the globe, including the popular IHart Radio and others. Ron often provides special solo piano music of his own creation along with the music of the Showcase Singers.
